About Us- Alsek Valley Contracting & Project Management is a Yukon Safety Network certified company.We are Whitehorse based, but carry out work all over the Yukon as well as have participated on projects in BC, NWT & Alberta.
Jim Graham, Director, President and Project Manager, has a good understanding of the North, having lived in the Yukon since he was a child. He has thorough comprehension of northern climate, soils, water, people, and wildlife that are brought together when building our northern roads.
Jim's career has been spent on the road, from beginning in road maintenance as an equipment operator, then long haul highway and ice road truck driving, and then returning to road maintenance, as a highways foreman.Several opportunities for supervising rural roads and highway repair projects brought about the incorporation of this company in 2008.
Lee Somerton, Director and Treasurer, manages the office and all the fun paper part of having your own company! Lee has lived in the North since 1069, when her family moved back north to build Moose Creek Lodge on the Klondike Highway.
